Temporary Terminal

The Transbay Temporary Terminal will provide temporary replacement bus terminal facilities in order to relocate existing operations from the Transbay Terminal, allowing demolition of the existing terminal and construction of the new multi-modal Transbay Transit Center. Located minutes from the current Terminal on the block bounded by Main, Folsom, Beale and Howard Streets, the Temporary Terminal will serve AC Transit, WestCAT Lynx, Muni, Golden Gate Transit, SamTrans and Greyhound passengers.

The Temporary Terminal construction is being finalized this summer and will serve commuters through demolition and construction of the new Transit Center, ending in 2017.
